Sad to say

Due to everything that's going on currently with my relocation and a number of other things I'm sorry to say that I wont be able to open up for a bash this Sunday the 12th of sept.

I was hoping to maybe try and get one more drive in this weekend but I simply don't have the time.

It's been a great few months getting this little club almost up and running and we'd started to get a few regular drivers. I am sorry to be going and will miss the Sunday sessions.

Thanks to everyone that popped down and had fun.

Jason.

29th.. no Westhill racing

Sorry for the lack of updates and the short notice of this, life has been interesting recently due to many factors.

This Sunday the 29th will not be a Westhill bash day, I believe it's a Stonehaven round though but check first just in case. I wont be able to make it as I have lots to do over the weekend.

Also I will add at this time that I am in the near future moving to Cambridge. This has happened all very fast and I do apologise for that so I'm not sure what will happen to the WORCC..I will still be up in Westhill once ever couple of months so will maybe set some dates later. But all will have to be flexible.

Sunday!

Was a fantastic day of driving...got the Master Smacker much better set after some suggestions from Phil and ran the Macnum Beetle thing I'm making.

Dan turned up for a few hours and took his Cougar for a spin, leaving most of his tires on the floor...

We did some timed laps also, some proper racing almost. I did a 17 lap run over 3 mins and had a a fastest lap of 9.57 seconds. Dan ran an incredible 23 lap with a fastest time of 7.75 but Phil won the 'event' by driving an amazing 25 lap run over 3 mins with a fastest lap of only 7.55!!

Later in the afternoon my Brother came down for some bashing..and that's what he got....some more damaged to his shell LOL...soon the whole thing is going to be just tape.

Was a great day..

Anyway... 12 - 4 pm as usual feel free to pop along for a run around.

Stonehaven Round

Was a good Day Sunday...I ended up driving Phil's X factory B4 conversion and had great fun driving it..Thanks Phil!!

12 Drivers turned up to race and we had some guest appearances by Dan's new Schuy Cougar and a fantastic looking new Tamiya TRF201 owned by Dom. Both cars looked and raced fantastically and I got some half decent vid footage of it :)

My driving has improved form the last time...I ended up have several new personal bests and increased my lap count from 15 laps last time to 17!

The down only point was the continuing probs with Darren's Durango, which once again just stopped during the first heat...I think you might find it for sale today on Ebay...the other down point.

Great day.. Dan won with Dom a close second.

Sunday 18th...

No driving this Sunday...due to lots of other commitments and possibly some work needing done in the SHQ's kitchen we'll have no racing on the 18th... hope this does not disappoint to much...

The weekend after that is a round at Stonehaven I think so will possible be racing there to make up for it.

Sunday 4th Racing

Was an outstanding day today, rained so did not try outside but great fun was had by all I think. Phil joined in today and had his B44 flying around the hall...leaving some of his tires on the floor :P

Used a new track design today...added more sections for a tighter more technical track.

We had 4 cars screaming around for a while and it really was excellent fun, Iain and I also broke out the Truggy's for a thrash while other batteries were charging, they really are great fun to drive but have the turning circle of a super tanker.

No major damage today, I broke the top of a shock cap and my Bro cracked his new shell.

Did learn some good stuff, mainly that 19-21 turn brushed or brushless equivalent will probably be a requirement for driving in the Hall...any more then that starts leaving rubber everywhere :), small price to pay for some good fun.

18th July for next bash... Weekend after that (25th) is another outdoor round at Stonehaven :)
